About the Shop

The Sunlight Crisis Shop sells high quality items mostly donated by generous members of the public.

​

The money raised from our sales helps to support people in your local community through campaigning, providing information and support through our services. We rely on your generosity to fund the important work we do in raising the awareness of Mental Health.

Volunteer with us

​

The Sunlight Care Shop is supported by our amazing volunteers. They're a dedicated bunch, who help us make sure that everyone with a mental health problem has somewhere to turn for advice and support.

 

There's no need for volunteering to be a big, time-consuming commitment either - even an hour a week could make a huge difference. By joining one of our teams you’ll get the opportunity to learn new skills, gain qualifications, make new friends and build your confidence too.

Whether it's sorting and pricing clothes, making sales or getting creative on the shop floor, there's plenty to help out with.

 

Our volunteers also benefit from:

​

  • 25% discount on all donated items in store

  • the opportunity to complete National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs)

  • the chance to gain new skills and experience in different roles in retail.
